張菀玲
CHANG WAN-LING
1983年生於台灣苗栗
錄像藝術、攝影創作




2007開始的藝術創作，經常探討著都會空間裡頭人與人間的相處狀態，是看不見距離般的疏離感、趨向個人化的行事狀態，亦或是仰賴通訊機器做為中介交流。以實驗或觀念性的方式拍攝單頻錄像、錄像裝置和平面攝影，藉此隱射溝通習慣如何改變的狀態，由團體轉為個人對雲端、語言減少至微短的訊息符號……，藉此探討社會改變中的生活模式。

Biography

CHANG WAN-LING

Born in 1983 in Miaoli, Taiwan ,live and work in Taipei Taiwan
Video art, photography
The artistic creations which began in 2007 are constantly exploring the interaction model among people in the metropolis. It may be a sense of alienation with an unseeable distance, a trend of a solitary itinerary, as well as a reliance on telecommunication equipment as the intermediary of communication. The works consist of shooting single-channel video, recording devices and photography in an experimental or conceptual way. In this way, the states of habit transformation can be observed, from collectivism to individualism and cloud computing, where language is reduced to slightly shorter symbolic messages. This is an exploration of the changes of lifestyle in the society.
